Dmitry Gribanoff is a director, scriptwriter and cameraman.

Since high school Dmitry has been making films, participating in a number of amateur festivals and receiving awards. He graduated from St. Petersburg University of Culture and Arts in 2003.

His graduation film “Unreality” (2007, Russia, 7min) received the best experimental film prize at the Beginning Student Film Festival in 2003. His next film "Kiss of the Sister" (2007, Russia, 50 minutes) was among the first films to deal with same-sex relationships in Russia.

Piter Moskva (2010, Russia, 27mins) will be premiered at this years Side by Side LGBT Film Festival. After the screening there will the chance for questions and answers with Dmitry.
