Master Class: One Woman / One Camera

 

 

 

 

Following the screening of the film, Hello, My Name is Lesbian, there will be the opportunity to take part in a Master Class: One Woman / One Camera with directors Iben Haahr Andersen and Minna Grooss. With their guidance and expertise get to know about the basic elements for making a good documentary film. They will acquaint you with the technical aspects of documentary work and introduce the importance of image, editing, sound recording and storytelling.

 

 

 

  

Director Iben Haahr Andersen: graduated as a recording engineer from the National Film School of Denmark in 1982. She has been directing films for the last 12 years (including Two Women on a River and Sound of Life). She also designs music and sound for the stage, film, performance art and her own gigs.

Director Minna Grooss: a writer, musician and documentarist who has published three books (including Homo), articles in a range of women’s magazines and newspaper lifestyle and travel sections, and works as a newspaper columnist. She has recorded with bands including Miss B. Haven, the Sandmen, and her own band Jodeladies, for which she won the 2004 Homo of the Year Award, and the "Homo of corny-queer-camp band" (www.myspace.com/jodeladies).
