Andreas Strohfeldt

Andreas Stohfeldt: “Though not living any longer in Saint Petersburg, I love the city and my friends there and I am looking forward to the meetings and discussions with participants and guests of the festival. Andreas Strohfeldt has a strong connection to Saint Petersburg. After the screening of Out in East Berlin get to know more of his perspectives concerning the devlopements in Russia and the LGBT movement. 

Andreas Strohfeldt was born in 1962 in the former GDR and studied in Moscow. He lived in St. Petersburg during the 1990s but for the past 15 years has lived in Berlin. He has made several films, some of which have been distributed globally, and has often worked in Russia.
