"Israel is one of the most complicated countries in the world. It generates conflicts and draws attention, discomfort and debate. Still, in this troubled country thrives a vivid, giant, lively GLBT community with great representation, culture, protection from the law and a long line of broken closets. Why is it so? My film GAY DAYS is the Chronicles of this hi/he/she/story. It shows how a small group of people took it upon itself to change an entire society - facing ridicule, hatred, homophobia - but still not giving up. Believing that GLBT rights - as part of human rights - and not part of a debate, can never be partial - but are necessary and a must. It's a story with a happy end - but it's not just a story or a film - it's the lives of many. And it's s story that is relevant to all societies and cultures of our time."
