Side by Side Film LGBT Festival Organiser Speaks at Stadtfest, One of the Largest LGBT Events in Europe.
Following the  appearance on stage of Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit Side by Side Film Festival organizer, made a welcome speech at Stadfest where she was participating alongside the Teddy Award Fund in the annual street fair. Tanya informed the crowd concerning the situation in Russia and the recent adoption of various homophobic laws around the country.

The Teddy Award was one of the first international organizations which supported Side by Side at the very beginning in 2008. The Teddy continues to be a friend and partner of the Russian LGBT festival and last year two festival volunteers Gregory Zaritovsky (St Petersburg) and Alex Chupin (Novosibirsk) also had the opportunity to attend Stadtfest and present the work of the Side by Side Film Festival.
