Feminist and sociologist from Saint Petersburg. Asya worked at the Women’s Crisis Centre for 10 years, provided social support for victims of gender motivated violence, carried out research and formulated the Centre’s public agenda. She has been a feminist activist since 2009. Besides raising awareness, she has also participated in organizing charity performances for the international V-Day campaign in 2014-2015, the Feminist Pencil-2 exhibition in Saint Petersburg, and the photo project “In_vulnerability”. Since 2015 she has been carrying out self-advocacy projects merging LGBTQ activism and feminism.
