David Frenkel works for Mediazona magazine in Saint Petersburg, filming and taking pictures of demonstrations, protest meetings and pickets, as well as performances and other street art and political events including various LGBT activities. His work has been published in many media outlets in St Petersburg, Russia and abroad: Novaya Gazeta, Meduza, Kommersant, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, The Independent and the BBC.
